LE NUBAINS NOUVELLE ALBUM

A brown Afro, Celia (33 years), Afro blonde, Helen (38 years) for a while called the Nubians. Less known to the public of Cameroon, the two sisters born in Paris to a French father and a Cameroonian mother, however, are among those who work for Cameroon's image abroad. They are able to mix their influences and make something very personal. The two "princesses" are ranked 7th most played artists of the United States. Success is the result sometimes sounds from elsewhere and perfumes African rhythmic exhale here and there against a backdrop of "nu-soul", the soul music revitalized by the harshness of hip-hop and the sophistication of jazz and just then born. This is the fourth album of Franco-Cameroonian entitled Nü Revolution, in stores since 2010.
"The album Nü Revolution, has the distinction of being produced independently. This is an album which made all our musical and artistic freedom. When we speak of revolution in this album, we see the evolution and Dream! It is a way for us to ask questions about the dream of an African and whether we have done ours for our villages, for our nation. The idea is to bring a new spirit to the African state. Nu, this is about us African world. In revolution there is also the word Eve (the woman), we are convinced that the change we want for our society will be worn by women. We wanted to talk about this issue in this album give strength to women. One way to bring hope ... , "Says the elder Helen" Nubians ".
Nü Revolution is the first embodiment of box production and editing "Nubiatik Publishing" created by two sisters in an effort to better control their works. Always the "nu-soul" to the program, always the concern of the form, the full voice control, this desire to "rub" of different feelings ... Second project that Nubians are very proud to announce, they will get this year 2010, a music festival in Kribi, Cameroon, international programming, history sharpen the artistic and intellectual curiosity of the country.
The beautiful pirouette of miscegenation!
Les Nubians sign so as a songwriter and performer Virgin. Helen (LN) takes singing lessons, guitar and music theory and began composing songs. After a pre-production between them, they collaborate with Mounir Belkir, DJ and composer Marseille. Musicians, they are part among others, the elite of the English soul. For the texts, the two sisters are on the same wavelength and develop their themes that are dear: their African roots, the cause of women, the black communities in the world, etc.. The titles are suggestive, "Makeda" (the name of the Queen of Sheba) or "Nubian Princess". Between "Taboo" in French resumption of Anglo-Nigerian singer Sade "Kiss Me" written by Princess Erika, Nubians provide a more intimate, almost light their album. "Nubian Princess" was released in May 98. "Makeda" is the first single which is extracted. In September, the record was released on the American label Higher Octave. In a few weeks, their titles are spending more and more radio and Nubians acquire a certain reputation. In April, they occur in France with much less success in the United States where the band managed to sell some 300,000 copies of their album, a record for extraordinary phenomenon in French. I must say that the rating of the Nubians is in this country, in good shape. Their speech "afropéen" attracted mostly black community who is very attached to his African roots. At the same time, the hip hop group that distills over pieces like very much.
